This page explains what PokerThink ("we") collects when you use pokerthink.app, why, who processes it on our behalf, and how you can have it deleted. Contact: support@pokerthink.app.
What we collect
- Your email address, to create your account and send you sign-in links and codes.
- Your subscription status, received from Stripe: whether your subscription is active and its billing period. We never see or store your card number.
- Your coached hands. For every hand: which hand it was, how far you got, how many coach replies it used and what they cost us. We also keep the words you gave and the coach's replies, so the coach can continue a hand, remember what you worked on and show your progress, and so we can improve the coach.
- A visit count. We count page visits in aggregate. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics.
What we do not collect
- We do not store audio. When you use the microphone, your browser's own dictation turns speech into text. Depending on your browser, that dictation may be processed by your browser's maker (for example Google for Chrome, Microsoft for Edge) under their terms. Only the resulting text reaches us.
- We do not sell your data and do not share it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Anthropic runs the AI coach. The words you give on a hand, and the hand's facts, are sent to Anthropic's API to write each coach reply and the recap.
- Stripe handles payment and subscriptions.
- Neon hosts our database.
- Netlify hosts the site and runs its server functions.
- Cloudflare provides our domain and delivers sign-in emails.
Cookies
We set one cookie to keep you signed in. It is required for the service to work. We set no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data while you have an account. Saved hands stay until you delete them or your account. Payment records are kept by Stripe as the law requires.
Your choices
- Delete your saved hands from your account page.
- To delete your whole account, or to get a copy of your data, email support@pokerthink.app from the address on your account. We act on requests within 30 days.
Children
PokerThink is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, or under the legal age for gambling where they live.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we will update the date above and tell members by email.
